Meet the Team - Catherine March, Client Relations & Content Marketing Manager

A bit about Catherine and her career 

Catherine joined the Cairney & Company team in April 2025. She began her career in advancement as a student caller at the University of Cambridge in 2015, before joining the University of Bristol as a CASE Graduate Trainee. 

Catherine spent seven years in Bristol’s Philanthropy Office, gaining extensive experience in donor stewardship, major gifts and regular giving. She has managed and collaborated on a diverse range of projects, communications and events, working across the UK and Hong Kong. Catherine is looking forward to bringing her skills and experience together to drive Cairney & Company’s content and support our wonderful clients.

Favourite thing about working at C&C  

I've been here for just over a week so far, but I’m already struck by the thoughtfulness and care the C&C team have for their clients, and for each other.  

Outside of work    

My favourite things to do are cook for friends and family, read, and spend time outdoors with my husband and our dog – walking, running and cycling. I studied French and Spanish for my undergraduate degree, so any opportunity to use these languages also brings me a lot of joy!
