Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching with AoEC

Journey

One of my favourite poems is by Robert Hastings entitled The Station.  The poem is about life being about the journey, not the destination:

sooner or later we must realise there is no one station, no one place to arrive at once and for all.  The true joy of life is the trip…

I have been on many life journeys, some more challenging than others. Each one has provided me with lessons learned and great rewards.

My latest journey has given me the opportunity to develop one of my passions and achieve my Professional Diploma in Executive Coaching with the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC).

I met many wonderful and inspirational people on this diploma. We supported each other along the journey, but also challenged, questioned and took each other outside of our natural comfort zones, all contributing towards one of the most enriching experiences I have ever had.

I have first-hand experience of how powerful coaching can be as I have had my own executive coach for many years, and her support and challenge have helped me to explore and maximise my own potential. Achieving the practitioner diploma will now provide my clients with deeper insight to the tools and techniques of coaching and further enrich their journeys.

I believe that people are the greatest asset of any organisation, and coaching is a fantastic tool to help your people aim higher and reach their goals. By providing people with the space and support to explore and reflect on their abilities and aspirations, coaching can help them to take ownership of their learning and growth.

In my role as coach, I have worked with many clients over the years to help them identify their strengths, build their confidence, and in many ways overcome their perceived limitations.  It’s my aim to inspire my clients to achieve new heights - and it’s incredibly rewarding to see them progress on their own journeys:

As a Coach Karen has a very positive energy which means I always leave a session feeling challenged, but energised, more confident and capable. (client)

Coaching isn’t about prescribing solutions, but identifying what is important to you, and supporting you to arrive at your own destination at the right time for you.
I look forward to working with more individual clients and teams to support their personal development and help them to maximise their own potential.

Achieving my coaching diploma is just one of many upcoming stops on my journey. Watch this space for the next exciting step…
