Alveo was founded in 2016 by Jennie Moule and Kate Lawton. Before Alveo, Jennie was Director of Strategy & Operations at UCL for over 10 years, including the planning and project management for their £600m campaign which launched in 2016.​ She oversaw systems and data, prospect research, gift processing, HR, finance, planning, and partnerships. Her energetic, fun and practical approach is valued by her clients who often say they feel better just having her on board. A firm believer in sharing experience, driving improvement and giving practical support to those in the sector, Jennie is a sought-after speaker, trainer, mentor and coach. She is a CASE Laureate and Crystal Apple holder.

With a pragmatic, clear thinking and inclusive style, Kate gets things done and takes people with her on a positive journey leaving long term transformational impact. Kate’s holistic approach comes from her diverse experience in higher education and arts organisations including the Royal Shakespeare Company, University of Birmingham, and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.   Her roles covered all areas of the sector, from operational leadership to face to face fundraising, database development, and campaign planning.​ A leader in change management, system thinking and IT development, Kate is also and a member of the European Council of Coaching and Mentoring.
